Hello everyone! I sincerely apologize for the lack of communication on the development of Next Step: Follow Through, but I can assure you all that things are still moving forward… just a bit slower than I initially thought. College and other major life events have kept me incredibly busy over the past year thus preventing me from making any meaningful progress on the next build. But don’t worry! Because during this time I have still been hard at work behind the scenes trying to make this experience something that I’m proud of and that you all can enjoy! I’m really happy with how things are turning out! Heres some of the things that I’ve accomplished:

- revamped the intro with more movement, improved dialogue, and new scenes

- improved the UI of the game greatly

- theres been a lot of progress with the writing with a big chunk of the beginning and end completed, and some work also being done to the middle portions.

- new music!

- I’ve started optimizing the game better to keep file sizes down

- character sprites are now highlighted when they speak

- characters now blink

- and much more that I can’t share right now!!!

So when can you expect the next build? Hmmmmm I can’t promise anything at the moment but I’m aiming for sometime this year!
